Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10th, 12th Board Exam 2019 date sheet has been released. The 12th and 10th Board Examinations are beginning from February 15 and February 21, 2019 respectively.
The date sheet has been released seven days prior to the commencement of exams to give students sufficient time between consecutive papers.
The Board has ensured that the exam dates do not coincide with the dates of competitive exams. In 2017, the Class 12 Physics paper had to be rescheduled as it clashed with JEE Main exam date.
The timings for the exam will be from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. As per the rules, the students will be given answer sheets at 10 am and the question papers will be handed to them at 10:15 am.
The board has also kept in consideration the admission schedule of the Delhi University, while framing the exam schedule.
The exams for vocational subjects will begin earlier, while for the core subjects, the exams will be held in March.
The results will be held in June, according to the CBSE officials.
