Burari flyover opens to traffic

The 20-km-long Vikaspuri-Wazirabad elevated corridor will be completed by next month with the fourth part of the project — the Burari flyover — being thrown open to traffic on Monday. PWD Minister Satyendar Jain, while dedicating the 700m-long flyover on Outer Ring Road to the people, said that two parts of the elevated project are yet to be opened and would be completed by March.

“There were some hurdles in completing the two remaining parts, but all problems have been sorted and the two remaining parts will be completed by March,” Jain said. A network of several flyovers and elevated roads between Vikaspuri and Wazirabad on the Outer Ring Road will

help decongest traffic and result in commuters saving on fuel and time.
