Vijay Vikas Yatra of Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari for MCD election campaign reached West Delhi on Tuesday. Along with MP Pravesh Verma and District President Ramesh Khanna, Tiwari made public contact in 18 Wards of Rajouri Garden, Madipur, Hari Nagar, Tilak Nagar and Janakpuri.

While addressing a meeting in Sitapuri Tiwari said that previously the Congress and now the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are putting hindrance in the process of regularisation of unauthorised colonies.

“Even after the directions of Centre and the court, Kejriwal Government failed to provide the fund to the Municipal Corporations required for preparing plans for regularisation,” said Tiwari.

“The result is that the corporations are unable to work for the development of unauthorised colonies,” he added.

He further said that just after coming to power in the municipal corporation the BJP will compel the Kejriwal Government to provide fund required for the regularisation of unauthorised colonies and if the Government fails the matter will go to the court.

Pravesh Verma said that the SDMC has provided better civic amenities to the people under West Delhi Parliamentary constituency. The community centers, open gym parks are better here than other areas of Delhi.
