Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday came down heavily on the Bhartiya Janata Party ( BJP ) over incident of vandalism at Delhi Jal Board (DJB) office.

“The BJP should understand that the Aam Aadmi Party and my Government are fully with the farmers till their last breath. We are not afraid of such cowardly attacks. I appeal to all the workers not to be provoked by such attacks of BJP, and show support to farmers,” the AAP chief tweeted in Hindi.

AAP leader Raghav Chadha claimed that the office of DJB was vandalised by workers of the BJP.

Earlier, Chadha had tweeted a video clip purportedly showing broken doors, glass, pots, furniture and blood stains on the floor at the DJB’s headquarters at Jhandewalan in New Delhi.

“The BJP workers abused and manhandled the women staff and threatened us asking us to stop supporting the farmers," he said.

Chadha said that after putting Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal under house arrest and vandalising the house of Deputy Chief Minister, they vandalised DJB office now.

“They threatened me saying that if AAP does not stop supporting the farmers then similar attacks will take place against other AAP leaders. BJP workers entered the DJB office and broke the doors, windows, benches, and vandalised the entire office starting from the reception till my chamber. They also destroyed our printers, computers and other important items,” he said.
