Seeking resignation of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, in the wake of the recent lokayukta order, the Delhi BJP on Friday staged a protest outside her residence. Party workers led by City BJP chief Vijay Goel, reached the Chief Minister's residence -- 3, Motilal Nehru Marg, in the morning. They also tried to break the security cordon, however, were prevented by the police personnel.

Addressing the party workers, Goel said that by using the public fund for getting political mileage is like playing with the trust of innocent people. "How long will she keep quiet, she has to reply. She should resign from the post immediately. It has been proved by Delhi lokayukta that Dikshit has misused her power and cheated the people of Delhi. Our protest will continue till she resigns," Goel said.

He also added that they will soon meet President Pranab Mukherjee in this regard.
