Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (B JP) is set to stage a protest at Chief Minister’s residence for banning Chhath Mahaparva — a festival of Poorvanchalis.
Delhi BJP media head Naveen Kumar said under the leadership of State general secretary Dinesh Pratap Singh, Delhi BJP Purvanchal Morcha will oppose the anti-Hindu policies of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and humiliation of people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
In this protest, Delhi BJP Poorvanchal Morcha President Kaushal Mishra, karyakartas along with all Poorvanchalis who worship the Chhathi Maiya will participate.
Kumar said that Kejriwal does not leave any chance to hurt the sentiments of Hindu to keep a particular religion happy. “To hide their failure and incomplete preparations, the Chhath Mahaparva, celebrated by the Poorvanchalis was banned by CM Kejriwal which is totally unfair. Not only this, the anti-trader CM Kejriwal first forced the traders to buy fire crackers of crores of rupees by distributing license and then banned them that brought traders to bankruptcy,” he added.
