Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha held a series of protest demonstrations on Monday at seven locations across Delhi demanding action by AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal against his colleague Ashutosh for his derogatory blog against Mahatma Gandhi and against AAP MlAs involved in misconduct against women. Mahila Morcha’s demonstrations will continue on Tuesday also.
Mahila Morcha’s Pradesh president Kamaljeet Sehrawat led the protest march of New Delhi District’s Women Delegation from Pragati Maidan to the residence of Dy CM Manish Sisodia raising slogans demanding expulsion of Ashutosh from AAP. Police stopped them about 100 yards before Sisodia’s residence.
Meanwhile, Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay said that it seems a “sex syndicate” is running within the Aam Aadmi Party. “It is amazing that a Minister is involved in making porn videos while his OSD is involved in floating them in social media. Another former Minister Somnath Bharti stood attorney for a porn website,” he said.
“The matter becomes all the more shady when we hear that what we have seen in Delhi is not even tip of the iceberg as more such news is in store within Punjab unit of Aam Aadmi Party,” he added.
North West District BJP Mahila Morcha workers, led by Anita Rana, also held a protest demonstration near Rithala Metro Station. Outer Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha workers led by Pradesh Secretary Poonam Parashar Jha held a demonstration near Sultanpuri Chowk.
Mayur Vihar District Mahila Morcha, led by Aseema Singh, demonstrated at Superfine Chowk of Mayur Vihar.
Naveen Shahdara District demonstration took place near Shahdara Metro Station led by Kusum Tomar and Councillor Swati Gupta. Shahdara District Mahila Morcha demonstration was led by Shashi Chandna and Satya Joshi at Som Bazar, Parwana Road. Karol Bagh District Mahila Morcha demonstration near Karol Bagh Metro Station was led by Sona Kumari.
