BJP has conceded defeat, it only gave garbage mountains to city: AAP

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday hit back at the BJP chief JP Nadda saying the saffron party has conceded its defeat ahead of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls as the party has had to bring out its National president for a small municipal election. The AAP said Nadda did not say a single word about BJP achievements in the last 15 years in the MCD.

Taking a dig at BJP chief,  AAP Chief Spokesperson and MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj said that Nadda should drop his gimmicks and present a report card of BJP's 15 year long MCD tenure. “BJP's 15 year long MCD tenure ridden by misgovernance and maladministration, Nadda has no achievement to talk about,” he said

“BJP has only given garbage mountains to Delhi in its 15 year long MCD rule. BJP wants to build 16 more garbage mountains to further push Delhi towards doom; AAP is standing firm, we won't let BJP ruin Delhi.” AAP leader said.

Bhardwaj said that BJP has forfeited its fight for the MCD. “The National President BJP came to Delhi  for a rally for something as small as the MCD elections.  It is astonishing that the BJP has been in power for 15 years in the MCD and yet they have nothing of their own to talk about. Schools from class one to fifth are under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, sanitation system, roads and drains inside the colony and villages, the menace of animals and mosquitoes come under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

Despite this, Nadda could not name a single achievement. What work has BJP done in 15 years?  BJP has not done anything in MCD in 15 years. Their national president has nothing to talk of while asking for votes of Delhiites,”

he said.

“This is a clear cut defeat of the Bharatiya Janata Party that they have nothing to describe about their work,” the AAP leader said.
