BJP embarks on drive to meet Central scheme beneficiaries

The Delhi BJP has launched a series of programmes to contact the beneficiaries of Central schemes during the last four years of the Narendra Modi  Government. As part of the programme, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari met former law Secretary PK Malhotra on Tuesday.

Tiwari said during the last 70 years, many Governments have claimed launching public welfare schemes but it is Modi Government which has registered so many achievements in a short span and now the same is reflecting in the zeal of the beneficiaries participating in the Beneficiaries Sammelans being held across the country.

“The youth have benefited by the schemes like Mudra Yojna and Skill India in Delhi and people have also benefitted by the Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojna in large numbers but it is regrettable that Delhi Government is not encouraging these schemes at the Government level due to which the benefit is not reaching to the people expeditiously,” Tiwari said.

leader of Opposition (loP) in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta said the Delhi Government has been making tall claims of providing health services but in reality they are doing nothing. “The Central Government started Jan Aushadhi Kendra for providing drugs at cheap rates and had also given great relief to the heart patients and other patients waiting for organ transplant by drastically reducing the rates for such treatments,” said Gupta.
