BJP demands police action against Kejriwal, Sisodia

Published on:

leader of Opposition (lOP) in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta, along with BJP MlAs met lieutenant-Governor Anil Baijal and demanded strong police action against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for their complicit connivance in assault on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash.

"The complaint of Prakash  clearly stated that no one tried to save him during the assault," Gupta mentioned. "This implies that the CM and Deputy CM, along with 11 MlAs, were equally guilty of connivance in the office. Police must act against CM, Deputy CM and the remaining nine MlAs," Gupta said.

He said the medical report of the Chief Secretary has clearly established that he was badly beaten.  "The report has highlighted cut on face, injury on shoulder and swelling behind the ears.   It has exposed the web of lie and deceit woven by AAP leaders that no assault took place.  The facts remains that AAP leaders, including CM, Deputy CM and 11 MlAs are brazenly telling lies to hide their misdeeds of goondaism, corruption and arbitrary orders, he added.
