BJP Delhi Win – Modi Ki Guarantee book launched

A book chronicling the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) historic victory in the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections was launched on Wednesday.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, her cabinet minister Kapil Mishra and senior leaders of the party were present. The book, titled BJP Delhi Win – Modi Ki Guarantee, is a first-hand account by Richa Pandey Mishra, president of the BJP’s Delhi Mahila Morcha.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister declared that the BJP’s historic victory in the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections was a triumph of dedicated party workers, not an individual.  She said, “This victory does not belong to any one person but to thousands of workers who dedicated their complete devotion and strength.”

“Today I am speaking not as a Chief Minister but as a party worker. This government is the outcome of the dedication of every worker and the trust of the people,” CM said, adding that even after the defeats in 2015 and 2020, the party’s workers did not lose courage.

The book, authored by Richa Pandey Mishra, president of the BJP’s Delhi Mahila Morcha, chronicles the party’s return to power after 27 years. The launch event at the NDMC Convention Centre saw a gathering of top party leaders, including National General Secretary Tarun Chugh and Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra.

Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra lauded the author, Richa Pandey Mishra, for her “first-hand, authentic account” of the electoral process. He emphasised the importance of ground-rooted politicians writing books to counter “false narratives.” Mishra said it was amazing that the author found the time to write the book, a feat he said he had only planned but not executed.

Picking up on this point, Chief Minister Gupta humorously remarked that Mishra had the time to write the book because she did not get a ticket to contest the elections. Gupta maintained that her position as Chief Minister was just another responsibility. BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh also underscored the importance of such literature in the ongoing “narrative war,” stating that the world of literature is often occupied by people far removed from reality. He revealed that a chapter in the book, “Kejriwal to Kejrifall,” exposes the hypocrisy of former CM Arvind Kejriwal, who despite his humble promises, built a “Sheesh Mahal” for himself.

According to the author, the turning point in the election was a single call to action by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who said, “AAPDA ko hatana hai aur Bhajpa ko laana hai” (remove the calamity and bring in the BJP). Which is also word play drawing parallel between  Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Aapda (calamity).

The book, published by Prabhat Prakashan, provides a glimpse into the work of the party’s ground workers. The launch was also attended by BJP Delhi State President Shri Virendra Sachdeva and dignitaries including Pawan Rana, Vishnu Mittal,  Ajay Mahawar, Vijay Goel, among others.
