BJP national secretary RP Singh on Wednesday lashed out at the Aam Aadmi Party over “controversial” posters put across Punjab showing Arvind Kejriwal’s party celebrating the birth anniversary of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
“AAP is going to any extent to get votes in Punjab. The posters are on the walls of Amritsar and various gurdwaras of the State. They have a very narrow political motive. And this is not the first time Kejriwal is doing that,” he said.
Moreover, Singh said the AAP is denying that they had put these posters. “They are denying that they had put these posters. If that is true, then they should file a police complaint against those who tried to impersonate them. But they are not even doing that, which shows that they are trying to get out of this situation now,” he added.
