Buoyed by the victory of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate in the just-concluded Rajya Sabha election, the party has decided to intensify its campaign to spread the message of good work being done by the government through a series of meetings at the village level.

“Party workers would reach every village in the state to make people aware of the one year’s achievement of the BJP government. The campaign will start from Monday and continue till April 6,” BJP state general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak said on Sunday.

He said the talking points had been given to party workers in form of booklet Rs Ek Saal Nayee Misaal’.

“Earlier, police harassed villagers over extraction of mud but now all the harassment would end,” he said adding that 68,000 such awareness programmes would be held across the state.

The BJP leader said that earlier this programme was held at the state level, then at district level, when party leaders held interactions with people and informed them about the achievements of the Yogi Adityanath government.

“Ministers also had attended meetings at their respective districts,” he said

Pathak said that after the programme, the party would organise ‘Beneficiary Conclave’ from April 14 wherein leaders would meet beneficiaries of government schemes and interact with them.

“Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be attending a few such programmes,” Pathak said.
