The Special Cell of Delhi Police has questioned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in connection with the recently received threat letter to bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan. “Bishnoi has denied any involvement in the death threat letter to Khan and maintained that he has no hand in it,” said sources Bishnoi, a few years ago had threatened to kill Salman Khan for his alleged involvement in the infamous black buck poaching case.

The Mumbai Police had said that said that around 7:30 AM on Sunday, Salim Khan was handed over an unsigned, hand-written threat letter, which was addressed to Salman, by an unknown person while he was sitting on a bench after jogging at the Bandra Bandstand promenade The letter is signed off with some initials which the police are probing and also attempting to unravel if they are linked to any past incidents targeting Salman Khan. Police teams have earlier, interrogated Bishnoi for his alleged involvement in the murder of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu alias Sidhu Moosewala.

“Bishnoi has alleged that Moosewala was involved in the killing of Akali Dal youth leader Vikramjit Singh alias Vicky Middukhera on August 7 last year which led to a rivalry between him and the Punjabi singer,” said the sources.

“Bishnoi has been very uncooperative so far. But during interrogation, he accepted that he had a rivalry with Moosewala and claimed that his gang members killed the singer,” said sources. "He has revealed that Goldy Brar was one of the gang members who conspired and executed the killing of Moosewala but has not yet disclosed the names of other associates who were the real conspirators and executioners of the killing," a police official said.

The official said, "Bishnoi has not disclosed the exact motive behind executing the killing and has been uncooperative about revealing other details about the murder."
