A Mumbai-based model and Big Boss 5 contestant lodged an FIR on Thursday against unknown people for sexually assaulting her.
She had come for a shoot in the national Capital and checked in a guest house at Sector-26 of Noida. She was taken for medical examination. Police say they are conducting the probe.
The model told police that she had come to New Delhi's Connaught Place on August 15 for a shoot and was staying in Kashish Residency Guest House, Sector-26, Noida. Police said the incident reportedly took place on August 16 between 5 am and 11 am.
The model alleged that she checked into the guest house early morning after her late night shoot in New Delhi and then went to sleep inside her room around 5 am. She told police that she felt like somebody entered into her room, injected her with some sedative and then performed un-natural sexual act.
She alleged that somebody had been watching her through cameras inside the guest house, police said.
Police added that the model was busy in her shoot in Delhi and did not inform police earlier but approached the nearby Nithari police post on Thursday around 8 pm to lodge the complaint.
Amarnath Yadav, Station House Officer (SHO), Sector-20 police station, Noida said, "We have registered her complaint under section 377 (un-natural sexual act) and 328 (causing hurt by means of drugs) for the Indian Penal Code. As she was discussing the incident, it seemed like a case of witchcraft.
Yet, we are questioning the guest house staff and investigating the CCTV footage. The case is being investigated with all possible aspects."
"Also, we have conducted her internal and external medical examination to ascertain the drug substance in her blood. Victim has
recorded her statement before the magistrate. The medical report is yet to come," he added.
"We wanted to
approach her for further investigation but she took the FIR copy and left for Mumbai," SHO said.
