Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) Vice- Chairperson (V-C) Kanchan Verma on Friday launched a campaign to beautify the city through paintings on walls on squares and other strategic locations.
Sanskar School has taken the responsibility of painting the city walls. The campaign was launched by the GDA after students of Sanskar School started painting. The students and teachers of the school beautifully painted wild life, forestry, human behavior and other issues of industrialisation and trading culture.
Verma said that the painting is the part of Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan. By painting walls, we can contribute in tourism and showcase our culture. The painting strengthens life of any structure but painting showing culture is an other added advantage.
The painting of city was, earlier, launched three-years-ago but the they are faded with the time. So new attempts are needed to paint the walls again said the VC.
