The Delhi Dialogue Commission (DDC) has started the process to rope in consultants to bring in more professionalism in various faculties to speed up works in the national Capital. The move is being interpreted in the political circles as an attempt to minimise the role of the bureaucrats in policy and decision making. As the Government is at loggerheads with several bureaucrats on a host of contentious issues, a source said by roping in professionals from different fields will help it to run the administration smoothly.
The primary aim of the DDC is to come up with new ideas, identify best practices and policies from around the world and translate them into concrete recommendations, projects and documents for the transformative change of the Delhi Government.
The consultants would be hired for a period of one year and paid up to Rs 1.55 lakh every month. The DDC is looking for professionals in finance, law, social welfare, e governance, research and communication and other areas.
Among the professionals AAP Government is looking for is a senior consultant for law, whose primary job would be to draft, formulate and vet legal frameworks and documents relating to promotion of private investment, drafting legislations and other research work. The consultant has to have a llB degree with five years professional experience relevant to the job description.
The administration is also searching for a senior consultant for e-governance.
