In a shocking incident in South-West Delhi, a 36-year-old woman was shot dead by her husband, who later shot himself on Friday morning. The couple were identified as Jagbeer (40) and Anita (36).
Jagbeer was working as a private security guard at a jewellery shop in Karol Bagh and was living in Haryana.
On Friday at 7.30 am, Jagbeer reached his in-laws’ house to meet his wife, who had gone there a few weeks ago, when the incident happened.
According to officials, Anita and Jagbeer then had an argument over some issue. Jagbir got angry, pulled out his licenced pistol and first shot at his wife’s hand. Within few seconds, he again shot at her. This time on her chest. He immediately shot himself on his chest and the duo fell on the ground in pool of blood.
