A 32-year-old son of a senior advocate has been arrested for raping a domestic help in his house in South Delhi’s Vasant Vihar area, police said on Wednesday. The complainant made a police call on Tuesday, informing them about the assault. According to police, the call was made from Government flats located at Ber Sarai on Tuesday evening. “The complainant told us that she was sexually assaulted by the employee’s son in the house on several occasions,” said the officer.
In the complaint, she said, the accused had sexually assaulting her on several occasions. On March 5, he forced himself on her when no one was in the house. He also threatened her of dire consequences if she told anyone about the assault. The medical examination has been conducted on her that confirmed the rape. A case under Section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code was registered at Vasant Vihar police station and the accused has been arrested. The complaint, whose age is 28, has been counseled.
