The wife of former Deputy Prime Minister lK Advani was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) on Tuesday due to health complications.
Doctors said she is doing fine and her condition is stable. She was admitted with fever and complains of infection in the abdomen.
“Advani ji’s wife was admitted to our hospital early in the morning on Tuesday. She is admitted in the ICU of the hospital for observation,” a senior doctor at AIIMS said.
Meanwhile, AIIMS spokesperson Dr Neerja Bhatla said, “Kamla Advani was admitted at AIIMS with fever and urinary tract infection. She is under close monitoring by a team of super specialists comprising of urologists, geriatric medicine and intensive care specialists. Her condition is presently stable; she is maintaining blood pressure and oxygenation without any external support.”
