In its first major administrative reshuffle after the recent Assembly election, Secretary (Urban Development)
RK Srivastava, a 1984 batch IAS officer has been relieved from his services towards the Delhi Government and will be joining Goa Government. Srivastava was posted as the director of local bodies.
He was also the in-charge of regularisation process of 895 unauthorised colonies. He has played a major role in the regularisation of these colonies. The transfer order was issued by Secretary (Services) Kailash Chandra of Delhi Government.
A 1985 batch IAS officer, Arun Goyal, has replaced Srivastava as Principal Secretary (Urban Development) director of local bodies to coordinate with the three municipal corporations for the process of regularisation. Goyal had earlier served as Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi and additional secretary of power department.
In another major reshuffle, a 1985 batch officer MM Kutty, Principal Secretary to CM, has been transferred to finance, planning and tourism department. Kutty has relieved Archana Arora, who was holding the additional charges of Principal Secretary (finance and planning).
Secretary-cum-Commissioner (Food and Supplies) has been given an additional charge of Secretary (Administrative Reforms) and Secretary (Information and Publicity).
A 1998 batch officer Gyanesh Bharti has been transferred as Managing Director (Delhi Tourism). He is on deputation. Rupesh Kumar Thakur, a 2006 batch officer, will be deputy commissioner in South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC). Gobind Jaiswal, a 2007 batch officer is posted as additional commissioner (trade and taxes).
JB Singh has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary (PWD) in place of Nani Mali, who has been relieved for Arunachal Pradesh Government. Nila Mohanan, a 2007 batch officer who was posted as additional secretary to CM, holding additional charge of the posts of Mission Director and additional secretary (art, culture and languages) is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner (South and South East Delhi).
Madhu Rani Teotia is posted as Mission Director. She has been holding the charge of additional director (education). Mrinalini Darswal, 2002 batch officer has been transferred as additional director (education) in place of Teotia.
