A day after the three Municipal Corporations of Delhi (MCD) merged into one, the civic body on Monday issued orders, allocating the Additional commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, and Directors of the department, to streamline the proper functioning of the corporation.
According to the orders issued by municipal corporation, Consequent upon unification of erstwhile Municipal Corporations and in order to streamline the proper functioning of unified Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the work among the officers at level of Additional Commissioner including Shilpa Shinde (Engineering Deptt.), Sonal Swaroop (DEMS department), Ram Niwas Sharma(Hospital Administration, AYUSH and Advertisement), Randhir Sahay (Finance, CED and Toll Tax), Brajesh Singh (Horticulture, Law, M.S. Office, and Public Health), Alka R. Sharma (Education, Veterinary, Labour and Hackney Carriage).
While allocation the Directors of the department, “Amit Kumar (Press & Information), Vikas Tripathi (Education), Anil Kumar Sharma (Chief Law Officer), Prince Dhawan (IT), Sanjay Sahay (Vigilance),” stated order. On May 20, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs appointed Special Officer and Commissioner of unified Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
The Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday appointed IAS officer Ashwini Kumar as Special Officer and Gyanesh Bharti as Commissioner of unified MCD.
