AAP workers protest against corruption in civic bodies

Hundreds of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers and leaders held a protest in the Rohtas Nagar constituency on Sunday against the “corruption” spread over in the Municipal Corporations of Delhi.

The protest was called against the rising inflation and unemployment because of the failure of the Modi Government’s policies at the Centre and to expose the widespread corruption in the BJP ruled corporations, the AAP said in a statement. However, Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that people of Delhi are fed up with the negative politics of AAP and now realize that the city's growth has stalled during the last six years.

“People of Delhi have made up their minds to get rid of the AAP government. It will face the biggest defeat in the upcoming municipal election,” he said.
