AAP to hold 2,500 ‘Mohalla Sabha’ across city from Jan 7

The senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) in-charge Durgesh Pathak said that they are going to hold 2,500 ‘Mohalla Sabha’ across Delhi from January 7-15.

Pathak said that in the last 15 years the BJP has transformed MCD to a den of corruption. “If you open any file of the MCD you will find some corruption or other. The MCD has become a factory of corruption and from the last few days, the AAP is continuously unmasking and exposing the corruptions of the BJP ruled MCD,” he said.

“The AAP wants to take these issues of corruption of the BJP to every single citizen of Delhi. The AAP will go door to door and apprise the people of Delhi regarding these scams done by the BJP. The AAP will hold around 2500 Mohalla Sabhas across the capital,” said Pathak.

“During these meetings, we will ask for the suggestions from the citizens of Delhi on the matters of corruption by the BJP. These meetings or Mohalla Sabhas will start on 7th January of this month. Till 15th January this Mohalla Sabhas will be continued,” said Pathak.

“The AAP has identified around 600 speakers to address these Mohalla Sabhas. Party’s MLAs, councillors, district in-charges, Lok Sabha in-charges, sangathan mantris and ward in-charges etc. will communicate with people during these Mohalla Sabhas,” said Pathak.
