After lieutenant-Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal allegedly returned the Delhi Government’s proposal for door-step delivery of services for reconsideration, an infuriated AAP leadership lashed out at its arch rival BJP led central Government and lG, holding the duo responsible for ‘deliberately’ objecting on the proposal and sending the file back.
AAP said that “AAP KI SARKAR., AAP KE DWAR” was to facilitate the citizens of Delhi in availing the services provided by the Government at their door-steps. “People have to wait for hours standing in long queues outside Government offices for availing these services, considering the problem faced by
common people AAP Government has planned to make available about 40 Services including making Rashion card, licence, certificate, etc. at the door-step. But it’s unfortunate that lG has put objection and has send the file back,” said Gopal Rai the senior AAP leader.
Rai said that the objections put forth by lG are ‘irrational’ and the lG is not aware that despite of digitization there are still long queues outside the Government offices. “Digital Delhi is among the priority of AAP Government but lG is not aware that despite of it people fall in long queue waiting for hours outside Government offices for verification etc.,” he added.
