AAP MlA conspicuous by his absence!

While 25 AAP MlAs, including party chief Arvind Kejriwal, appeared before the lieutenant Governor on Monday, another party MlA Rajesh Garg was conspicuous by his absence.

Garg, the AAP legislator from Rohini, was not a part of the delegation that met the lG demanding dissolution of the Assembly. Garg, however, said he had a court hearing to attend and so he could not make it to the meeting. “I had filed a case against a Hindi daily for land encroachment in Rohini. The hearing was scheduled today (Monday); so I couldn’t go. There is no other reason,” Garg said. He claimed that he met the lG later in the day but that was related to the same land grabbing case. Another party MlA, MS Dhir, skipped the meetings as he continues to hold the Assembly Speaker’s post.
