AAP leaders have forgotten decency while criticising L-G: Bidhuri

Lambasting the AAP leaders, Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Legislative Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri on Sunday said that AAP leaders have forgotten dignity and decency while criticising the Lt Governor who shown the mirror to the so-called education model of Delhi Government while Delhi BJP working president Virendra Sachdeva said there is no comparison of education system between the conditions of Finland and the conditions of Delhi.

Criticising the AAP, Bidhuri lamented that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal used disrespectful and objectionable language towards the Lt. Governor in the Assembly and now MP Sanjay Singh has also forgotten all decency.  “AAP leaders have crossed the line. If they don’t have courage to face criticism, they should join the politics,” Bidhuri said adding that the public is very disappointed and hurt by this derogatory language of the leaders of AAP.

Bidhuri said that the reply given by Lieutenant Governor on the questions raised by Chief Minister in the assembly has put the reality of Delhi’s education model in front of the public.

“The attendance of students in government schools in Delhi was more than 70 per cent in 2012-13, which has now come down to 60 per cent. There has been a sharp decrease in the number of students in Delhi schools, while the Delhi government falsely claims that the number of students has increased. The DDA allotted 13 plots to the Education Department of Delhi to build the schools, but the Delhi government could not give even a single new school to Delhi. Delhi slipped to the eighth position in the National Achievement Survey and this year the Class 10 results also came down to 82 per cent.

Bidhuri said that Chief Minister Kejriwal and AAP leaders should make efforts to improve schools instead of spreading false propaganda but instead of this they are using misleading and derogatory language.

Sachdeva said that Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia compare the education system of Delhi with the education system of Finland first of all this comparison is meaningless because there is a large difference between the conditions of Finland and the conditions of Delhi.
