Criticising the Delhi Government for the conduct of AAP MlAs, Delhi BJP on Monday took a jibe at Kejriwal Government calling its behaviour towards public as one against public morality and established administrative norms.
“Aam Aadmi Party came to power by making the people’s sentiments and its respect as a big issue but it is ironical that even if they desist from infighting, the conduct of AAP MlAs and its Government are against public morality and established administrative traditions,” said BJP Delhi Pradesh president Satish Upadhyay.
Upadhyay said that BJP Pradesh will meet lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and demand that he stop the administrative arbitrariness started by Arvind Kejriwal Government. The farmers should be paid compensation immediately after assessment of damages.
“Delhi Police should be directed to stop the arbitrary behaviour of AAP Ministers, MlAs and their family members and FIRs lodged against them. The MlAs should also be prosecuted in accordance with law. Minister Jitendra Tomar should be dismissed immediately.”
“Few days ago Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced in a meeting of the farmers that they shall be paid compensation at the rate of Rs20,000 per acre. But even after 10 days, the farmers are not able to harvest their crops because the Delhi Government has not made the assessment of damages. Chief Minister had said that our MlAs from rural areas shall report about the damages but no such report has been received,” he added.
Similarly, Kejriwal had paid compensation of Rs1 crore to the family members of the policeman killed during a movement for getting political advantage but in the case of Dr Dinesh Sharma of Chacha Nehru Hospital, who died of swine flu, no compensation has been paid and the Government is not ready to accept this case as death due to swine flu.
