Raising slum development issue in the Delhi Assembly, leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta on Monday alleged that Urban Development Minister Satyender Jain and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government never worked on the policy framework for slum development.
listing out the empty promises made by the AAP during the elections, BJP MlA from Rajouri Garden Manjinder Singh Sirsa reminded that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had promised for new water connections to slum dwellers, “But no new connection has reached the people.
In fact, people are suffering from poor system of community water distribution and are craving for each drop of water,” Sirsa said.
He said that one lakh poor households who are entitled to subsidised ration under the National Food Security Act 2013 are not being provided with a ration card.
