To woo voters in Delhi, its leaders undertook door-to-door campaigns, roadshows and padyatras in all seven lok Sabha seats. Protesting against incident of slapping to Kejriwal during a roadshow in North-West Delhi lS seat, party workers, along with senior leaders, staged dharna at Rajghat.
The entire day witnessed hectic campaigns by its candidates despite the slapping incident. AAP candidate from North-East Delhi Prof Anand Kumar covered Seemapuri, Babarpur, Ghonda, Seelampur, Mustafabad and other areas.
Rajmohan Gandhi, candidate from East Delhi constituency made door-to-door campaign and took out roadshow in the area of laxmi Nagar, Viswas Nagar, Anand Vihar, Trilokpuri and others. Ashutosh, candidate from Chandni Chowk seat, Jarnail Singh from West Delhi, Ashish Khetan from New Delhi also put their efforts by campaigns in their constituencies. While expressing confidence of winning all the seven parliamentary seats in Delhi, AAP spokesperson Dileep Pandey said, “We will sweep the elections. There is no anti-Kejriwal mood anywhere. We are confident of sweeping the Delhi elections by winning all the seven seats.”
