Alleging the Aam Aadmi Party Government of “continuing with Rs400-crore water tanker scam even today,” leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta said on Tuesday that the Government which came to power on zero corruption tolerance has now “completely sunk” in corruption and irregularities.
“The Kejriwal Government continues with Rs400-crore wanter tanker scam even today. After sitting over the file for a long time, it now continues to go ahead with the corrupt practices by continuing the scam leading to a loss of Rs6 crore every month,” Gupta said while addressing a Press conference at which BJP MlAs OP Sharma and Jagdish Pradhan were also present.
Gupta further said that Kejriwal did not want former CM Sheila Dixit to be prosecuted. “Both the Governments are involved in the scam. That is why the Government continues to make a payment of Rs6 crore every month to the companies of water tanker,” the leader of Opposition said.
Referring to the website named nojailnomooch.com launched by Delhi Water Minister Kapil Mishra on Monday, Gupta said, “launching of website by the Government at the expense of the tax payers is a cruel joke on them. It is nothing but mental bankruptcy of the Arvind Kejriwal Government.”
