A seven-year-old boy was crushed to death by a speeding car outside his residence in outer Delhi’s Aman Vihar area on Wednesday, said police.
According to police, the incident took place when Deepak was playing outside his home and he was hit by a speeding car. Police have arrested the errant car driver.
“The incident occurred at 2.40 pm when the victim was playing outside his home when Rijul Gupta was heading towards his home in his fortuner. He lost his control the vehicle. His car hit the boy,” the officer said. The accused managed to escape from the spot. Eyewitness made a PCR call at 3 pm after which police came to the spot and took the victim to nearby hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
