A 50- year-old man was found dead in a servant’s quarter at Delhi’s South Avenue area, which houses residences of Members of Parliament, on Friday morning.
The man has been identified as Suresh, who also have a residence in Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi area. Police said that his wife works as a maid here in a house at South Avenue area. According to a senior police official, the incident took place on Thursday night and stab wounds were found on the body of the deceased. “The deceased was the husband of a servant who lives in the servant quarters at South Avenue. Police have sent body for autopsy. A case has been registered and police have initiated investigation,” said the senior police official. “During scanning of the CCTV footage, police teams had identified few suspects. Police have also detained three suspects in the incident and police teams are questioning them,” said the senior police official.
