nDelhi Police have arrested three members of a gang of snatchers who were wanted by the police for being involved in more than 20 cases of snatching and theft. The accused have been identified as Nagendra (19), Sunil Negi (21) and a minor currently residing in South east Delhi's Sangam Vihar. According to Chinmoy Biwasl, the Deputy Commissioner of Delhi (DCP), South-east district, "Police team signaled a white colour apache bike with three riders to stop the bike but rather than slowing down, it was sped up and tried to flee. However, the alert picket staff apprehended the riders at the next picket."
It was revealed that accused Sunil Negi was released from jail in February, 2019. After his release from jail, he roped in Nagender and a minor boy and convinced them to work for him.
