In a welcome news in the nationwide fight against the coronavirus epidemic, three containment zones in Gurugram have been declared to be free of the deadly disease. Gurugram District Collector and Deputy Commissioner Amit Khatri issued a new order of containment areas on the recommendation of District Disaster Management Committee and Containment Review Committee on Wednesday.
In the orders issued by the Collector, 6 zones of Gurugram district have been declared as containment zones, whereas earlier 9 areas of the district were containment zones.
According to the orders issued by the District Collector, 3 areas of Gurugram are no longer in the containment zone category. These include Nirvana Country in sector-54, Palam Vihar, Labernam Society in Sushant Lok-1 and Emaar Palms in sector-83.
