Three persons were arrested for allegedly thrashing and assaulting the Indian legal head of a private company and threatened his life after a hearing outside the Supreme Court on Monday afternoon.
The accused have been identified as Anoop Das (22), Nitin (22) and Ajay (26).The incident occurred when the man was entering his car with a female colleague. The accused forcefully opened the door and suddenly started attacking him. A police official said that the victim was severely attacked by three unidentified men, who he claimed were hired goons. According to the police, the accused have been trying to stop the victim from fighting a case against their boss and have tried threatening him earlier too. A case under sections 307/506/34 of IPC was registered at Tilak Marg police station.
