A 27-year-old man was killed when a Hyundai Car hit a bicycle in Southeast Delhi’s Govindpuri area on Saturday night. According to the police, the victim has been identified as Abhishek Dubey.
Police said that the accident took place on March 18 at around 11pm when they received a PCR call that there was an accident between Hyundai car no Dl 3C BA 3182 and a bicycle.
The accident took place opposite the Majidia Hospital at RD marg.
“Cyclist Subhash Gupta was unfit for statement. As per the local enquiry, driver of the car hit the bicycle and later on hit the central verge. There were total of five persons who were inside the car. Out of the five persons, one Abhishek Dubey died on the spot,” said a senior police official.
Police said that a case under section 279, 337 and 304 A of the Indian Penal Code at the Govindpuri police station. The driver of the car is yet to arrested. Further investigation is on.
