Vijender Gupta meets l-G on Delimitation
leader of Opposition (loP) in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta on Tuesday met with lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal at Raj Niwas to seek his intervention in issues of Shunglu committee report and delimitation of wards. “In order to facilitate more effective actions on the issues, it would be in fitness of things, if a monitoring committee is set-up for effective implementation and follow-up of the decisions taken by him on the basis of the Committee’s recommendations,” said Gupta. “It may also include the members of the Shunglu Committee to ensure proper course of action,” he said further. Gupta along with OP Sharma have requested the lG that the matters, in which gross illegalities and irregularities have been committed, should be immediately referred to the CBI so that guilty could be speedily punished.
