The protest was part of the Congress party across the city to highlight the failures of the BJP-run MCD and Centre. Addressing people, Jai Kishan said MCD offices have become the den of corruption with officials acting like agents. “local parks, roads, streets, drains and dustbins are in poor shape but MCD would rather pander to the area councilors, who are hand-in-glove with contractors. School and community centres too are in a sorry state,” he said.
