Remembering Babasaheb

Felicitating the people of Delhi on the occasion of 123rd birthday of Dr BR Ambedkar, the BJP Delhi Pradesh President Dr Harsh Vardhan on Monday said that we cannot forget the contribution of Dr Ambedkar in establishing democratic system in India.  “He not only drafted the Constitution of India but also brought the dalit community into the national mainstream,” he said. Vardhan also added said that due to the neglect of this community by the successive Governments, dalits are suffering from malnutrition, diseases, lack of education, higher rate of death etc. “Development of our society is not possible without development of dalit community. BJP will take initiative for their development,” the BJP leader said.
