BBE fest ends at Ambedkar College
The annual BBE festival “Radiance 2013” organized by the department of Business Economics of Bhim Rao Ambedkar College concluded on Tuesday.
The event was inaugurated by Jyoti Bhandari, Director (Accounts) at l&T Finance, the alumni of 1st batch of BBE (1995-98). The inaugural address was made by Dr GK Arora, Principal, Bhim Rao Ambedkar College. 25-30 colleges from Delhi University and other management institutes in Delhi and NCR participated in the two-day event. A special attraction was presence of a lot of BBE alumni and the formation of Association of Business Economics Alumni (ABEA) with president (Uphar Joshi), secretary (Vishal Srivastava), treasurer (Jyoti Bhandari) as founder members.
Patient forum helps share experiences
At a recently held ‘Joint Patient Forum' in the Capital, patients going through the recovery phase got a chance to share their experiences with others and receive the much-needed help from doctors on how best to take care of themselves. Organised under the banner of ‘Joint Efforts' NGO, it gave a platform to people who have undergone replacements of knees or other joints to share their experience. Dr Rajeev K Sharma, Senior Consultant Orthopedics & Joint Replacement Surgeon at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, the man behind the idea of the forum, said this platform is an effort to help and advise patients to enable them live a normal life.
