Two girls were hit by a water tanker on Monday around 6:50 am near Mata Chanan Devi Hospital in West Delhi’s Janakpuri area, police said. One of the girls lost her life in the accident and the other is critically injured, said sources.
According to police, the deceased, identified as Nagma (15) and her cousin Samreen (13) are students of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Janakpuri.
They were on their way to school when they were hit by the water tanker. A Police Control Room (PCR) call was received at Janakpuri police station about an accident that occurred at C-1, Red light Pankha Road Janakpuri.
