Member of Delhi legislative Assembly (MlA) Manjinder Singh Sirsa has accused Congress Party and its Government for shielding the culprits of 1984 anti-Sikh riot. Sirsa said, “Observations of the Delhi High Court against the accused in 1984 anti sikh riot cases has not only rekindled hope of justice for the community but also has vindicated that accusations leveled against the culprits are right.”
“First time in 33 years judiciary has accepted that the accused don’t want victims to get justice,” said the BJP MlA from Rajouri Garden.
He further said, “Community members including the victims had been claiming from day one that accused are powerful leaders who had been protected by the Congress and its Government all these years, it was first time that the judiciary has also accepted that these persons were running away and not answering to the notices issued to them.”
