To assist three-member panel set up by lt-Governor Najeeb Jung to examine around 400 files cleared by the AAP Government, 19 DANICS level officers have been deputed at lt-Governor Secretariat. Delhi Government’s services department has issued transfer orders of 19 DANICS and DASS-level officials to Raj Niwas.
Sources said that these officials are expected assist three-member panel. The panel members are expected to work from Raj Niwas. Earlier, the appointment of three member panel comprising former CAG VK Shunglu, former Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalaswami and ex-Chief Vigilance Commissioner Pradeep Kumar, has come after the Delhi High Court ruled that the lt-Governor is the administrative head of the city Government. The panel has been asked to submit its final report within six weeks of its first meeting.
