In a horrifying incident, a 15-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by a group of four juveniles while he was heading towards his school in North-West Delhi's Bhalswa Dairy area on Monday morning.
Police said that the incident was reported on Monday evening from the Mukundpur area when the victim, a Class IX student of a private school narrated about his ordeal to his parents. His parents in turn informed the local police.
“On Monday morning, the 15-year-old boy was heading to his school when he was stopped by a group of four boys. All are in the age group of 13 to 17 years. They whipped a knife and threatened him that if he made a noise, they would kill him. The juveniles then took the boy to an isolated building where they sexually assaulted him and after that threatened him of dire consequences if he revealed anyone about the act,” said a senior officer, privy to the investigation.
Police sources said that one of the juveniles was caught a few days back in a mobile theft case by the locals in the area and was handed over to police. Since the accused was a juvenile, he was released on bail.
Police said that the 15-year-old boy somehow managed to reach home and told his parents. The boy had sustained cuts on his body. He was sent for medical examination, which confirmed unnatural sex, said police.
Police on Tuesday said that a case under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Bhalswa Dairy against the juveniles and 3 of them have been apprehended.
