A 15-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by her neighbour in West Delhi's Khyala area on October 3, but the victim mustered up the courage to tell her parents on Wednesday. Her parents lodged a complaint at the Khyala Police station.
According to a senior police official, the accused has been identified as Tara Singh(30), who stays in Raghuvir Nagar. The incident had happened in the afternoon.
“We have registered an FIR under sections of rape and POCSO act at the Khyala police station and have started investigating the matter. No arrests have been made yet,” said the police official.
