In a ghastly incident, three minors were sodomised by another minor in Sector-82 in Noida on Monday. The accused has been arrested under Sections 377 and 511 by Phase-II police and has been sent to a child care centre while victims have been sent to the hospital. The victim's father, in his complaint, stated that a 15-year-old neighbour sodomised his 9-year-old son and his two other friends near his residence.
According to the police, the victims, residents of Udyog Vihar in Noida Sector-82, were playing cricket in a nearby park when the accused, a 15-year-old studying in Class IX in a Government school, lured one of them inside his Alto car with the motive to sodomise him. When mother of one of the boy, who was crossing from the area, saw her son sitting in the car with the accused in compromising position, she immediately called for the local residents. After spotting the crowd around him, the accused made a desperate attempt to flee but was nabbed by the people. He was later handed over to the police after being thrashed. At the same time two other children approached the spot blaming that the accused of performing the same act with them a few moments back.
The children said that that the minor had offered them chocolates and other articles before the incident.
"Although only the medical report of the boys would confirm sodomy but we have arrested the accused under appropriate sections of law and have sent him to the child care unit for further proceedings. We are also trying to get details of previous incidents in which the accused was involved" Rajkumar Mishra, Circle Officer-III in Noida, said.
