Three police stations of Ghaziabad police have shown results in solving pending cases.
The Kavi Nagar police arrested an auto lifter and recovered a stolen Volkswagen polo from his possession. During the extensive checking of vehicles in posh Raj Nagar District Centre (RDC), the police officer Varun Panwar noticed a man driving Volkswagen polo car. On being questioned the driver tried to flee but was intercepted by an alert Panwar. He was finally stopped by the police new Ghaziabad railway station.
During interrogation the car driver revealed his identity as Videsh Kumar alias Sudesh Kumar. He confessed his crime that he stole this Volkswagen polo from RDC on 8/5/2018 for which a case was registered in Kavi Nagar police station. He further confessed that he was going to disposed off the car in infamous Meerut Kabadi bazar to a leading scrap dealer.
In the meantime the Sahibabad police arrested four thieves and recovered huge stock of stolen items. During interrogation they revealed their identity as Ansar, Munazir, Aslam and Sushil. They confessed to their involvement in several cases of theft and police recovered 250 jeans, 2 Industrial batteries, 2 mobile phones, 3 knives and a three wheeler from their possession.
In the third case, staff of Vijay Nagar police arrested two kidnappers who had abducted a minor girl on 6th May from Vijay Nagar area. A police team conducted a raid at their hideout in the city and rescued the victim from their possession. The abductors were identified as lal Dhari Mandal and Bharti Mandal, They told the police that they intended to take her to Bihar. They were nabbed before they could leave the city with the minor girl.
“The staff of all the police stations have been asked to perform and nab criminals as that would minimize such incidents. They have been also directed to solve all the pending cases at the earliest. The three police stations have showed the instant results” said Akash Tomar, the SP (City ) Ghaziabad.
