34,411 complaints on pollution have been received through Green Delhi App so far, out of which, more than 32,897 complaints have been resolved, Delhi Government said on Thursday. Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that the maximum number of complaints came from MCD, DDA, and PWD. The app has proved to be highly successful as 96% of the pollution related complaints received through Green Delhi App have been resolved already. “Any Delhi citizen can complain about pollution through the Green Delhi App. The Government ensures immediate action on the basis of the type of complaint received through the app,” added Rai.
Rai also stated, “A question that often arises about the Green Delhi App is which incidents should be reported as complaints. The Green Delhi App is meant for pollution related complaints only."
