Jersey is shahid kapoor’s best
At the trailer launch of his upcoming film Jersey, Shahid Kapoor opened up about his film Kabir Singh’s success at the box office.
“I went like a beggar to everybody who has made these 200-250 crore films. It was completely new to me. Having spent 15-16 years in the industry, I never had such a huge grosser. So, when it finally happened, I didn’t know where to go,” he confessed.
“Credit goes to Gowtam Tinnanuri, the director, for still working with me, waiting for me. I’m so happy I did this and can safely say this is my best film yet,” Kapoor added.
Fairtalk
‘My daughter is growing up and she is growing every day. She has become a very responsible child and understands the fact that I go to work, her father goes to work and that’s what grown-up people do — they go out and make a living for themselves. It is important to understand that as a grown-up, you have to go out there and work to earn your place in the society.’
Dailytalk
‘Even now, almost after 70 years, the Jews who survived make sure that nobody in the world forgets what the Germans did to them. Somehow, the Britishers for 100+ years colonised half of the world and I think they were worse than what the Nazis had done. But they are the ones with very good PR machinery, and that’s the reason even today nobody talks about any of the massacres.’
LAWRence adds to pay disparity debate
Jennifer Lawrence reveals there was a pay disparity between her and DiCaprio in the film, Don’t Look Up.
“Look, Leo brings in more box office than I do. I’m fortunate and happy with my deal,” she states.
“But in other situations, I’ve seen it’s uncomfortable to inquire about equal pay. If you do question something that appears unequal, you’re told it’s not gender disparity but they can’t tell you what exactly it is,” Lawrence shares.
